I sold my Jax home when I relocated

I decided to buy a house in my hometown because I figured I would stay there forever.

I lucked out on a big house with a good piece of land walking distance to my parents home.

I figured I would raise my teenagers there and they could walk to their Grandfatherrents. How sweet, right? Well my parents ended up selling their house and moving further south. So I had a Jacksnovlle house that was now worthless. I didn’t want to live in northeast Florida by myself. I was single with no teenagers too. What was the point of that big house? I started looking around and found a better locale closer to where my parents live now. I picked a small house that wouldn’t be my forever home. I didn’t trust them to stay put. I then started looking at selling my Jacksnivlle home fast for cash. I didn’t want to deal with a real estate agent. I feel they don’t genuinely do anything but collect a salary. They don’t research or really get you the best deal. I didn’t want to make repairs, clean, and stage a house either. I just wanted to sell and leave. The cash for house offers are so much more appealing. You can get out of a house fast when you need to relocate as well. The Florida real estate buyer was amazing to work with. The process was so quick and over in a few mornings rather than months. I feel I got a fair price and I didn’t have to do any closing costs. I counted it as a win in my books.
